Thanks for making this kind of grant available. It’s hard to find one that doesn’t require a person to be eligible for the PELL grant. Your site was very busy when I submitted my entry, so if it does not reach you thank you anyway.

Giving is such an important attribute especially during these hard economic times. Thank you for taking the time to consider all of the struggling college students and helping so many pay for their high priced textbooks. Your organization is a true blessing and as a transfer students I am going to try to start a program at my university to raise money and notify students about Beans for Books.

Thank you so much for giving me a chance to be considered for this textbook grant! I am so impressed that this wonderful organization originated from a high school student. I believe that to be a true leader you must lead by example, and you have done just that. This organization has such a positive impact on many students like me and their futures. There are so many enthusiastic, bright students that are struggling to afford the essentials for school. It is because people like you, that these students have a shot at making a difference too. Beans for books knows that knowledge is power, and together we have the power to make this world a brighter place! Keep up this excellent work.

It inspires me to see such big help going out to needy college students. As a Hispanic woman, just being considered for this grant is a big deal for me and my family. Thank you all for taking the time to consider me and I hope more Hispanic college students can get a chance to receive that little push too. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hi!
I just had the opportunity of searching this site in regard to the Beans for Books Grant. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline for this August and would like to know if there is another grant being offered for next year. I will be a senior this year and looking forward to applying for college for the Fall semester of 2010.
Please advise, I would love to enter!
