Here it is! The New & Improved 2009 Fall Semester Beans For Books Grant Application!

Over the past couple of weeks, the Beans for Books Board of Directors has been hard at work reading the latest round of textbook grant applications. As we delved into the essays, we were introduced to applicants from all over the nation, each with a story to tell. At times we laughed, we cried, and we once again gained valuable insight into the life of a twenty first century college student.
Do not despair if you were not selected as a finalist this time. Beans for Books continually works to raise funds for our textbook grants. But we cannot tackle the financial burden of college on our own; we need your support to continue to make the Beans for Books Textbooks Grant a reality. Also please note that a new grant opportunity will be coming up this summer for the Fall Semester of 2009!

All applicants are carefully being reviewed by our Board of Directors and BFB committee. The results of the winners will be released on January 5th and all applicants will be notified via email.

Whew! It was a difficult and time consuming process, but the Board of Directors has selected the recipients of the first semester Beans For Books Textbook Grants!
