Beans for Books Recieves 501(c)(3) Status
Recently at the Beans for Books Headquarters, the Board of Directors received a letter from the IRS confirming and finalizing our tax exempt 501(c)(3) status. The Board is very proud of this accomplishment and would like to thank everyone who has helped our cause and spread the word about our organization.
Moreover, this status allows us to put more money towards our cause and will hopefully help us reach our goal by the end of the year. Also, we’re still gladly accepting donations, and if you would like to help out check out our “How you can help” page to see how you can make a difference.

New look, new features!
Recently the Beans for Books website has gone through a complete website renovation. A new theme has been installed, along with a new logo, and a video system. Any bugs that were previously in IE6 are now fixed, and the site is running smoothly.
Some issues still need to be resolved as well. As of now, our website host seems to be having difficulties, and pages may load slowly. Eventually this problem will be fixed, and BFB will be up and running with much faster rates.
Currently, the BFB staff is working on our core system,(which will be implemented shortly) that allows us to sign up coffee shops for our program.
Keep a lookout for us. Our program will be in working condition in no time!
